About
I suck at this.
Can I give you a whole bunch of useless labels that will easily pigeonhole me inside your personal paradigms? Sure. My name in the default world of Social Security numbers and car loans is Lee. In the burn community I prefer to go by Puzzle. Biologically female, identify as the same although I am not much of a ‘girl’. My 31st birthday has passed and I am finding the gray hairs to be an interesting physical change. Could do without the loss of my perky boobs and the addition of the turkey wattle under my arms. Home is a suburb of Atlanta where I share a home with my chosen family.
It’s important to note that I choose not to organize my relationships inside the confines of monogamy. Some call it polyamory, some responsible non-monogamy, really it boils down to is not limiting any of my interactions and the fact that it’s no one’s business but mine what I do with my body. This will be important because I have a soap box the size of Montana on subjects of relationships and personal responsibility.
The other pertinent bit of information to have is my raging hard-on for all things Burning Man and burn community related. I am still processing my most recent Burning Man adventure and cross country drive made with my best friend, partner and fellow angry Tiki God- mcGruff. I go to Burning Man to participate and experience every single second.
Alchemy – the Georgia Burn is my soul sucking obsession. Together with mcGruff and another jackass burner we form the surley, anti-social, usually intoxicated three-headed Alchemy Public Works monster in charge of getting the infrastructure off the ground- literally. Alchemy is my chance to give a huge gift back to the larger community that helps create the burn experiences I cherish. 2009 will be my last year on the Board of Directors, but you can be damn certain that I am not going away, just stepping off the hot seat.
If you are really interested in knowing more, I suggest you read the blog. This is an endeavour in unashamed vanity for me. I think I have something to say and the wonders of the intertubes give me a platform to stand and shout from.
